Crowley Trip
Tom,
I just wanted to tell you
again what a great time we had fishing with you on Lake Crowley.
Mark, Lindel, Moe and myself talked about it and none of us could
remember catching that many quality fish in one day of fishing.
Your service is second to none.
I do have to confess that when you took us out to McGee Bay and
dropped the anchor in less than 3 feet of the ugliest water I had ever
seen (big time algae bloom) I thought to myself, “what in the hell is
he doing?” But I quickly
learned why your boat has been named the Fish Magnet.
To my surprise after a few minutes of casting instructions (which
by the way is a lot harder than it looks) we were catching fish.
Total for the day was 51 fish to the net and numerous missed
opportunities for two truly rookie fly fishermen.
So once again thanks for one of the finest days of freshwater
fishing that any of us has ever experienced.
Hope to see you in April for a drift trip down the Owens River. I’m sending along a few photos of our catches.
Thanks,
Harold Green,
Norco, CA
Mark Harpin,
Moe Readey and Lindel Smith
