Tom,
Randy and I got home late Sunday... I got up this morning,
did three or four hours of business, cooked and served dinner to 6 people, did
the dishes, and am ready to fall in be exhausted, but first...I had to e-mail
you and tell you what a delight it was to go fishing with you on the Owens
River Saturday.
I’ve been on plenty of guided trips before, but never
where the guide was as knowledgeable, friendly, competent and easy to be with.
You’re a gift to the Owens River, because of your ecological insights, and
to fishermen because of your fishing acumen. I told a group of friends early
this morning (I was at the beach around 6:30 a.m.) that we caught 39 fish
without breaking a sweat. They looked at me like I was crazy.
