We offer great fly fishing in the eastern sierra year-around out of Mammoth Lakes, Bishop, Crowley Lake, June Lake, and Bridgeport, California with diverse types of water and programs designed to get novices into fish with minimal instruction while challenging the most experienced anglers. We will provide all gear needed for your trip and can even include a deli-style lunch if requested. Your personal gear (hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.) and a California freshwater fishing license is all that is needed from you, while we take care of the rest.

During the general trout season, (The last Saturday in April – November 15th), we fish an abundance of different trout-rich waters from Bishop to Bridgeport and provide specialty trips at Eagle Lake. When the general season comes to a close (November 16th – The last Saturday in April) we continue to fish some of the best fall and winter trout streams. Many of these waters, hold some of the area’s largest trout that are easily accessible during the winter months.

Learning fly fishing in the eastern sierra can sometimes seem like an intimidating endeavor to some, especially those that have a background in spin casting. Our team of professionals will remove all the guesswork and show you how simple it is to learn this wonderful sport, all while doing so with a friendly and fun to learn from approach. Our guides know that fishing is a fun and enjoyable experience. After a trip with us, beginners will leave with a higher level of knowledge and skill than most of the average fly fishing community, and experienced anglers will have sharpened and refined their existing skills.

We are a kid and family oriented operation, and we have taught hundreds of women and children to fly fish over the years with great success.  Our trips during the summer months are perfect for the family that enjoys adventure and would like to add fly fishing to their vacation itinerary, or just enjoy a day on the water together. Our winter trips can also be fun for the family and are a great way to split up your activities during the ski and snowboard season.
