Crowley Lake fly fishing guide Josh’s love for fly fishing began at age 5, while fishing Hot Creek on vacation with his family. Josh and his father Jerry were introduced to stillwater fishing on Crowley by Tom Loe in 1997. They were both hooked from that point on.
He and his family traveled back and forth to the Eastern Sierra every weekend to fish Crowley, until finally moving to Bishop in 2005. Josh is the newest addition to the team and has years of experience on local waters.
He was the winner of the 2004 Western Outdoor News Double Haul in the Fall youth division and runner up in 2005.
Combined with his 24 years experience fishing Crowley, Hot Creek, Pleasant Valley and the Owens River, he’ll find a way to get you on fish. You’ll find him primarily fishing Crowley on his 22’ Skeeter Bay boat.
