Devin Preston grew up in Glendora, CA and found his love for fishing at the young age of 5 years old while vacationing with his family. He has spent countless summers at Lake Havasu, Lake Mojave, and the Eastern Sierra chasing striped bass, largemouth, catfish, and of course trout. He has an extensive knowledge of the Bishop and Mammoth area and knows the best spots for spending the day targeting the many species of trout the region has to offer. After spending years working for the family business in Southern California, Devin decided it was time to pull up roots and move his family to Crowley Lake, where in his spare time he volunteers with the Long Valley Fire Department. His friendly disposition and jovial personality make Devin one of the most enjoyable guides to spend the day with. He has a gift with teaching children and adults the intricacies of fly fishing and Devin finds that sharing the joy of the sport he loves with his clients is the most rewarding part of his job.

Devin can take you to some of the best fishing holes on some of the best rivers and creeks in the area. He has spent lots of time perfecting his skills on fooling some of the wiliest of trophy trout in the Sierra. He specializes in nymphing, streamer, and the latest dry fly techniques needed to catch these spectacular specimens.
